What to wear for ballet class

Want to try ballet but haven't bought gear yet? No worries — your first class can be simple. [Your first class] If you don't have ballet shoes or dancewear yet, you can wear: • Fitted leggings • A fitted top • Long socks Fitted clothing lets the teacher see your lines and posture — safer, and easier to correct your movement. [Ongoing classes] If you decide to keep taking ballet, ballet shoes are required. They protect your feet and give you the right balance and grip, which matters a lot for building solid fundamentals.
