Glowbe Dance ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your personal data privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your personal data in accordance with the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance ("PDPO").

When you register an account, purchase packages or book classes, we may collect the following data:

  • Name, email address, phone number
  • Payment details (securely processed by Stripe; we do not store credit card numbers)
  • Emergency contact name and phone number
  • Date of birth, dance experience, Instagram handle (optional)
  • Class booking and attendance records

3. Purpose of Use

  • Processing class bookings, payments and credit management
  • Sending class reminders and notifications (WhatsApp / email)
  • Emergency contact during classes (using the emergency contact details you provide)
  • Improving service quality and analysing operational data (anonymised)

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with third parties in the following cases:

  • Stripe (payment processing) — only the minimum data required to complete transactions
  • Twilio / Resend (notification services) — only the contact details required for sending notifications

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted transmission (SSL/TLS), access controls and regular security reviews. Your password is stored in encrypted form and cannot be viewed by our staff.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide our services. Records will be anonymised after two years of account inactivity. You may request account and data deletion at any time.

7. Your Rights

Under the PDPO, you have the following rights:

  • Access your personal data held by us
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and personal data

8. Emergency Contact Data

Emergency contact details you provide during registration are used solely for emergencies during classes. Please ensure you have informed the contact person that their data is being used for this purpose.
